Rob, Sally has a problem with her wrist and wants to rest it for a few more days before she climbs. Is there any chance you could do this one night next week with us.
In case its any help, one of the instructors at Oaklands showed us how to attach ourselves to the top hook with a sling and thread the rope through to be lowered back down thingy  ::)

Will there be any training happening tonight, or is it next Thursday? Or this weekend?

Rob,, me and Sal are flying from manchester to alicante but coming back into manchester from murcia. Ive booked my car in already at some airport parking. It was the cheapest parking i could find so the car might be stood on bricks when I get back. ;D

Just want to comment that im a shite* driver at the best of times, so i'd be a definite hazard to drivers and pedestrians alike if i attempted to drive in Spain. Thankyou to anyone that voulunteers to drive.
*p.s. are mild swear words allowed on the forum?

Thankyou for the info! looks like im going to get shredded legs as I havn't masterred the technique thing either  :o I do have a few more questions - is this the correct section?
1)Ive got a problem with pongy rock shoes -im concerned that Jet2 might confiscate them for being a health hazard. Does anyone know of any way of getting rid of the smell - i read somewhere that you can put them in a freezer - has anyone tried this?
p.s its not a hygiene problem as I get showered every day  :P

2)Do we need to be able to speak any Spanish? I just know Grassyass, porfavor and merci beaucoup. What is the word for 'help' ?

3)Are there any facilities at any of the crags - ie toilets and ice cream stalls?

4) How far are we from the hotel restaurant and cafe-bar - and can we get a menu before we go?

Im sure i'll think of some more soon.
Thankyou!

Is it safe to wear long shorts? i.e. are there biting insects, mosquitos and scorpions? Or would ones legs get generally shredded with the craggy rocks?  ::) and why did Cefyn put gloves on the list please?

Ive already got my car booked into airport parking. Me and Sal will be travelling together but could fit another in if anyone wants a lift. Its only a fiesta so think 2 more people might be pushing it with luggage too.
