Dear YAC
As Spain resident, I now have 2 "spanish" friends. 
Actually one is my wife, and the other a Yank.
Does anyone mind if I invite either /both to join us for a day/night?
Lola (=wife) probably on the saturday night / sunday.
Aaron (=not wife) probably appear on tues or wed.
Both will offer to pay their way, which we will profusely refuse, they insist, then we probably grudgingly accept , just to be polite.
They might not actually appear, but Id like to ask them.

Of course they are welcome I'd love to see Lola! Perhaps we can have a meal out with her - she could do the menu translation and we'd understand we're weren't getting a pie for PeteE

Was going to suggest that too - if everything goes according to plan, we should be at the houses by about 9.  So just hope that we don't find everything is closed, like it was on Mallorca!

which leads to another thought - would it be a good idea to for each of us to bring our breakfast for the first day with us on the basis that we may arrive to late to buy any groceries?

David's going to do some shopping for us to cover us for Sunday breakfast/lunch/evening meal and Monday breakfast/lunch.  ie enough to tide us over until we can go shopping on Monday evening.  There might be somewhere open on Sunday, but past experience says that there probably won't be!

sounds fine by me. you might like to consider sleeping arangements but we have enough space
for sure and more the merrier

Apparently the hotel next to where we're staying will be open and can do us a 3 course meal (fixed menu I think) for 10 Euros plus tax + drinks.

We need to book in advance so in the unlikely event of anyone not being interested, can you post here asap!
