Blea Tarn - Little Langdale 21/22 Nov
« on: November 03, 2008, 09:34:54 am »

we now have full 16 places signed up a few points to note

  • We can only take 6 cars so need to sort out lifts (unless you want to abandon your car at the NT carpark)
  • There have been complaints about noise from people in cottage next door - please please please keep the noise levels under control especially when arriving excited or post pub,  when outside the hut
  • Get there before 10.30pm on friday or bivi !
  • it's a compact and bijou place - no bikes inside !
.

Suggest we sort out lifts to minimise car numbers when everyone has paid up and  confirmed next week.

Who will be there first to open up/take key ?

Hut details:  http://lancsmc.org/Huts/index.php?Param=Loft

Who's going?

We'll be going straight from work, could probably fit one person in but they'd have to get themselves to Wetherby.

Is anyone other than Karen an NT member (and so can park in their car park for free)?

I'm a NT member too.  Is the NT car park far from the hut?  (Haven't looked at a map yet!)

it's less than a mile (10 mins walk they claim) but i am sure we could organise a shuttle

We can finalise lifts at the talks on Thursday at Brigantes

I am hoping to make a garden Crumble - so if anyone has any fruit
from their garden or better still scrumped bring it along -

so far Peri has offered blackberries and I have a few apples left
