Lift summary at the moment:

Carmen and Simon going direct from Wetherby
Debra going direct from Leeds
Peter is taking Annie
John sorting himself out
Donal is taking Rob
Peri and Guido going over Friday evening or early Saturday morning

So we're all sorted I think.

there is now a strong possibility that guido and me may share a lift over to wales at sparrowfart on saturday morning (from my point of view cutting out worry about trains from london).

Grid ref 5833 6252

From Llanberis
Go north on A4086 for about 2 miles, turn right on B4547 towards Bangor.  Continue past Snowdon View Caravan park on the right.  Ignore firstsignpost to Deiniolen, turn right at signpost marked Deiniolen and Dinorwig.

From Conway A55
Leave A55 on A5 twoards Bethesda.  After 400m turn right on B4409 towards Llanberis.  This road becomes the B4266.  At first roundabout turn left on B4547.  After 3 mioles turn left at signpost marked Deiniolen and Dinorwig.

Deiniolen is 1 mile along this road.  Go through the village, past the Bull pub (on right), leave the village passing a church with a spire (on left).

The road bends to the right and begins to rise.  Cottages commence again on the left. At the start of the cottages, begin counting lamp posts on the left.  At the 5th lamp post there is a small lane off to the left (very sharp turning).  Take this.

At the top of the lane is the hut, in front of which is a small car park (up to 7 cars). If it's full (it shouldn't be) then park on the main road, not the lane.

Another way to locate the lane is to measure exactly 0.9 miles from the Deiniolen sign which indicates the start of the village, when approaching from the B4547.

It's a residential area so please be quiet when you arrive!
