For those wanting to go on the trip to Sicily, 20-27 March, as of 9pm on 27 January there are only 3 seats left on the Ryanair flight from Stansted. That is according to their website.

I am booked

I've just checked the Ryanair site and it was a false alarm, sort of. The remaining 2 have gone but they haven't run out of seats. They have however run out of seats at that price - they're now an extra £20...

In case anyone's wondering whether to take any trad gear...

Almost everything is well bolted. A handful of (mainly multipitch) routes suggest taking some trad gear to fill in the gaps. And there's some entirely trad multi pitch - eg a 6-pitch 5a (about VS).

ACCOMMODATION BOOKED :D

I have booked us 3 flats in San Vito Lo Capo, they are supposed to be in the same complex and may even be next to each other. If you're interested look here http://www.ownersdirect.co.uk/italy/it3084.htm. There is one double bed and two single beds in each flat. I had to give the agent our names so they knew who was staying in each flat... so Flat 1: Rob, Julie, Tracy, Pete B; Flat 2: Simon, Carmen, Peri, Pete E and last but not least Flat 3: Steve and his wife, Andrew and Cef.  I've sent the deposit and the remainder is due on arrival in CASH with an additional 50 euro damage deposit/flat.

Each flat is 420euros (total 1260euros) I've paid the 30% deposit so we still owe in CASH on arrival 880 euros or 74.34euros each + the 50euro damage deposit/flat.

The flats include all bed linens and towels so no need to carry them along.

I take no responsibility for the decor or colour schemes found within the flat... think Sardinia  ;D

If the apartments are really that nice, then the weather will be so good that we're out so much we never get to see them :)
